Welcome to
Cuil-an-Duin
Country House

Boutique bed and breakfast accommodation situated just south of Pitlochry in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Whether you are looking to explore the spectacular Big Tree Country, visit Blair Castle or perhaps take a shopping trip to The House of Bruar, Cuil-an-Duin is an ideal base for a relaxing break in a magnificent country house setting.

Built as the private residence for the 9th Duke of Atholl, Cuil-an-Duin is a stylish Edwardian country house tucked away in 20 acres of secluded grounds.

Yet far from being grand and imposing, a warm and personal welcome from Sally and David awaits you. Throughout your stay you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the house and garden as though you are staying with family and friends.  In the colder months, relax in front of the roaring log fire in the drawing room with a good book.

Music lovers are very welcome to play our excellent Yamaha grand piano or strum a guitar. In the spring and summer months, meander around the wildflower garden, take afternoon tea on the terrace or a late evening stroll down the west drive and take in the spectacular sunset.

We are nature and animal lovers at Cuil-an-Duin. The gardens and woods support an abundant array of birds and wildlife including deer, red squirrels, owls, woodpeckers and buzzards. We also have our own pet dogs, cats and chickens!
